Leadership Workshops and programs

Every program below can be customised to your industry, team size and experience level. Here is what each one involves, how long it takes and what you walk away with.

Foundations of leadership

A two-day intensive for new and emerging managers

This program is for people who have been promoted into a leadership role in the last 12 months, or who are about to be. We cover the shift from individual contributor to leader, and what that means for how you spend your time, how you communicate and how you handle conflict.

  • Day one: understanding your leadership style (using a validated self-assessment), giving feedback that people actually hear, and running meetings that don't waste everyone's time.
  • Day two: difficult conversations (we rehearse three real scenarios from your workplace), delegation frameworks, and building a 90-day leadership plan.

Participants receive a 48-page printed workbook, a personal leadership profile report and a one-hour follow-up coaching call four weeks after the workshop.

Group size: 8 to 20 people. Duration: two consecutive days, 9 am to 4:30 pm. Delivered on-site at your premises or at our training room in East David.

Strategic leadership for senior teams

A one-day workshop for directors and department heads

Senior leaders face a different set of problems than frontline managers. This workshop focuses on strategic thinking under ambiguity, aligning cross-functional teams around shared priorities and making decisions when the data is incomplete.

We use a structured simulation where your leadership team works through a realistic business scenario involving budget pressure, a market shift and an internal talent gap. The debrief after the simulation is where most of the learning happens: we analyse how the group made decisions, who influenced whom and where communication broke down.

  • Pre-work: a 20-minute online survey completed by each participant and two of their peers, giving us data on team dynamics before we walk in.
  • Post-workshop deliverable: a written summary of the team's decision-making patterns, with three to five specific recommendations.

Group size: 6 to 14. Duration: one full day, 8:30 am to 5 pm.

One-on-one executive coaching session

Executive coaching

Six sessions over three months, tailored to you

Coaching works best when the person being coached sets the agenda. We start with a 360-degree feedback process: your direct reports, peers and manager each complete a short confidential survey. The results form the foundation of a coaching plan that we build together in the first session.

Sessions run for 75 minutes each, either face-to-face in East David or over video call. Between sessions, you'll work on specific experiments: trying a new approach to a recurring challenge and reporting back on what happened.

At the end of the six sessions, we re-run a shorter version of the 360 survey so you can see what's shifted. Most clients report measurable improvement in at least two of the areas they targeted.

This program is available as a standalone service or as an add-on to any group workshop.

Team off-sites

Half-day or full-day facilitated sessions for intact teams

Sometimes a team needs to step out of the office and have a structured conversation about how they work together. Our off-site facilitation service is designed for intact teams of 5 to 18 who want to reset their norms, resolve a lingering tension or plan the next quarter with genuine alignment.

We design each off-site from scratch based on a 30-minute briefing call with the team leader and, if possible, short interviews with two or three team members. The result is an agenda that addresses the real issues, not a generic team-building exercise.

  • Common topics: role clarity, psychological safety, decision rights, workload distribution and cross-team collaboration.
  • We provide a written summary of agreements and action items within 48 hours.

Indicative pricing

Frequently asked questions

How far in advance do we need to book?

We recommend at least four weeks for in-person workshops so we have time for the pre-work survey and customisation. Virtual programs can sometimes be arranged in two weeks. Executive coaching can start within a week of signing.

Can you deliver outside the ACT?

Yes. We regularly travel to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. For locations outside those cities, we add a travel and accommodation surcharge that we quote upfront. Virtual delivery is available anywhere in Australia and New Zealand.

What happens if we need to reschedule?

Rescheduling more than 14 days out is free. Within 14 days, we charge a 50% rebooking fee to cover facilitator time already committed. We understand plans change and try to be flexible where we can.

Do you offer ongoing retainer arrangements?

Several of our clients book a set number of workshop days per quarter under an annual agreement. This gives them priority scheduling and a 10% discount on the standard rate. Ask us about it during the scoping call.

What industries do you work with?

Our client base spans government agencies, professional services firms, tech companies and healthcare organisations. The core leadership skills transfer across sectors; what changes is the examples and scenarios we use, which we tailor to your context.
